These Terms of Sale govern all purchases made on tryaphroditeskin.com. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. Scope of these Terms

These Terms of Sale apply to all sales of products on our website. They form a binding agreement between you (the buyer) and Aphrodite Skin (the seller). By completing checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts to purchase from our store. By placing an order, you represent that you meet these conditions.

4. Products

Our products are cosmetics intended for external use only. Detailed descriptions, ingredient lists (INCI), and usage instructions are provided on each product page.

Product photographs are illustrative. Actual products may vary slightly in color, texture, or packaging due to natural ingredient variation, lighting in product photography, or supplier updates.

Aphrodite Skin reserves the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time without notice.

5. Pricing

All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) and include applicable VAT/sales tax for orders shipped to jurisdictions where we collect tax. Prices may change at any time, but the price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of checkout.

Promotional codes and discounts are valid only during the specified period and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

6. Order placement & acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. The contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, in particular in cases of:

  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized use of payment methods
  • Stock unavailability
  • Pricing or product description errors
  • Inability to verify shipping information

If we cancel your order after payment, we will issue a full refund within 5 business days.

7. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Debit cards
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • Shop Pay
  • PayPal (where available)

Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments and Stripe. We never store your full card information.

Your account is charged at the time the order is placed. If a payment fails, your order will not be processed and you will be notified.

8. Production & shipping

Most products are made-to-order in Seoul, South Korea. Total delivery time is approximately 4-6 weeks (3-4 weeks production + 1-2 weeks shipping).

Free worldwide shipping is included with all orders. Tracking information is provided as soon as your order is dispatched.

Risk of loss and title for products purchased pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We recommend selecting a secure delivery address.

9. Right of withdrawal (EU/UK customers)

If you are a consumer based in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a legal right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, send a clear statement of withdrawal by email to caroline@tryaphroditeskin.com with your order number.

Products must be returned in their original condition (unopened and unused). Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the product is defective.

We will refund all payments within 14 days of receiving the returned product or proof of return.

10. 60-day money-back guarantee (all customers)

In addition to legal rights, we offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee on all orders. If you are not satisfied with your results within 60 days of receiving your product, email us at caroline@tryaphroditeskin.com for a full refund.

You are not required to return the product to receive your refund.

11. Defective or damaged products

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photographs of the issue. We will, at your choice, send a replacement or issue a full refund (including shipping costs).

This is in addition to any statutory warranty rights you may have under applicable law.

12. Subscription orders

If you subscribe to recurring deliveries, your payment method will be charged at each renewal cycle. You will receive an email reminder 3 days before each charge.

You may pause, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by emailing us. Cancellations made before the next billing cycle prevent any further charges. There are no cancellation fees.

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Aphrodite Skin's total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the purchase price of the product.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits or loss of opportunity.
  • We do not warrant that any product will produce specific results, as individual responses to skincare products vary.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Force majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to fulfill our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, war, strikes, customs delays, postal service disruptions, or supply chain failures.

15. Personal data

Information collected during your purchase is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use your data only to fulfill your order, provide customer service, and (with your consent) send marketing communications.

16. Intellectual property

All product names, formulas, logos, graphics, and content on this website are the property of Aphrodite Skin. Purchase of a product does not grant any rights to reproduce, distribute, or modify our intellectual property.

17. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from a purchase shall first be addressed informally by contacting caroline@tryaphroditeskin.com. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration administered in the United States.

EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

18. Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The version applicable to your order is the version published on our website at the time you placed your order.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
